D'laila is currently a second year MBA student at Wharton . During the summer, she interned at Silver Spring Networks, a Bay Area based smart metering startup funded by Foundation Capital and KPCB. Prior to Wharton, she worked in software development and partner management roles on one of the fastest growing billion dollar product lines at Microsoft- SharePoint technology. She was also a part of the organizing committee and marketing chairperson at TIE, Seattle.
She holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign and a Bachelors in Computer Engineering degree with Honors from the University of Mumbai.
Sid is a 2nd year MBA student at Wharton. Over the past 5 years he’s been an entrepreneur in India and been involved with two start-ups, in both as a founder. The bulk of his experience, was with JagranTV/Channel7. It was a project that involved creating a National Cable News network of over 600 professionals and 15 offices and lead the start-up from planning through to launch, growth and eventual acquisition. He spent the past summer at McKinsey & Co. consulting in Manhattan with the firm’s Media practice. He holds a Bachelor in Software Engineering with Honors from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Alla is currently a second year MBA student at Wharton. Prior to Wharton, she worked as a Software Developer and then as a Project Manager at IBM in Silicon Valley. She spent the summer working as a management intern at Google in Online Sales and Operations. At Wharton, she's a social chair of her cohort and active in Technology Club, General Management Club and Admissions Committee. In her spare time she enjoys Psychology, learning French, traveling and most recently pottery.
She graduated with Highest Honors from UC Berkeley with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Science.
Sai Gopalan is a member of the Wharton MBA Class of 2010 and is majoring in Entrepreneurship, Finance and Marketing. Prior to Wharton, Sai worked for eight years in Consulting. Most recently he was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, where he worked with financial institutions across Europe and Asia on topics ranging from Strategy, M&A and Organization redesign to Operations improvement and Business technology. Before McKinsey, he worked with the financial and technology consulting arm of Reuters Asia Pte. Ltd for four years.
Sai holds a B.Eng. degree from the National University of Singapore and passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program in 2003. He enjoys yoga, travelling, cooking and has most recently started learning Taekwondo.
Mukul Chauhan is a member of Wharton MBA Class of 2010 majoring in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management. Before coming to Wharton Mukul worked with Silicon Valley startups building equipments for Telecommunication Networks and Data Centers. His company ObjectMart was acquired by ONI Systems which went public in 2000 and was subsequently acquired by Ciena. More recently his company Nuova Systems was acquired by Cisco. At Cisco Mukul was managing their next generation Data Center Management solutions. He holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science. He enjoys investigating new technologies and applying them to provide innovative solutions.
Prior to Wharton, Albert was a private equity associate at Francisco Partners where he evaluated leveraged buyout, growth equity and recapitalization investment opportunities in the technology industry. Previously, Albert worked in Oracle’s corporate development group and in Lehman Brother’s technology investment banking group. Albert holds a B.A. degree in computer science and a B.S. degree in business administration, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
Prior to Wharton, Solomon was a product manager at Yahoo! for various businesses including the HotJobs e-commerce channel and Yahoo! Newspaper Consortium deal. Prior to Yahoo!, Solomon co-founded eLife Technologies, an early pioneer in social networking and user-generated content portals, which was acquired by Network Connection. Solomon holds a BA in Economics from Harvard College.
Prior to attending Wharton, Rick spent nine years as a helicopter pilot in the US Marine Corps, based mostly out of San Diego. After two tours in Iraq, he spent his last two years of service as an officer recruiter in the San Francisco area. Rick holds a BA in Economics from Duke University.
Christine Chen (WG'10) is majoring in Entrepreneurship and Health Care Management. After Wharton, Christine would love to join a health services startup that will leverage technology to improve cost efficiency and quality in the healthcare system. Previously, Christine was a Manager of Corporate Strategy at Independence Blue Cross, the largest regional health insurance company in Philadelphia metro and a life sciences strategy Consultant at IMS Consulting. Christine earned a B.A. in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and M.A. in Organizational Psychology at Columbia University, Teachers College.
Nipun is a first year MBA student majoring in Finance. Prior to Wharton, he obtained a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford University where he worked on cutting edge research in Bioinformatics. He is a published author of two scientific papers and has been acknowledged in two textbooks. After completing his education, Nipun joined Amazon.com's Supply Chain division where he worked as the manager of inventory allocation and control. In this role, Nipun launched Amazon's first real-time inventory management system. At Wharton, he is active in the technology club and operations club, in addition to the consulting club. Nipun is also interested in emerging technologies.
Prior to attending Wharton, Kwan worked at Samsung Electronics in the mobile division as a product manager for five years. He worked with carriers globally to develop business strategies and create product roadmaps. Kwan holds a BA from Michigan State University in Marketing & Supply Chain Management.
Jessica Webster is a 2010 dual MBA/MA candidate at Wharton and the Lauder Institute for International Studies. She spent the previous five years working as a Lead Speech User Interface Designer at Nuance Communications – designing automated speech customer service systems. And while most people still prefer “speaking to a human” instead of “a machine”, she’s happy to have given her all to make the user-experience as customer-friendly as possible.
Jessica holds an MS in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University, with several publications related to robotic surgical systems and laparoscopic instruments, and a BA from Dartmouth College where she double majored in Spanish and a unique combination of Computer Science, Psychology, and Anthropology-- with a software development thesis.

Sujoy Banerjee is a member of the Wharton MBA Class of 2010 and is majoring in Entrepreneurial and Strategic Management. Sujoy has spent the past three years in Deloitte Consulting's Technology Advisory Services group, advising clients on strategic technology initiatives and leading design and development teams for enterprise systems and products. Before Deloitte, Sujoy worked on designing components of the software support system for Lockheed Martin's Joint Strike Fighter (F-35).
Sujoy graduated with a BS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in 2005. His professional interests include digital media, mobile technology, human computer interaction, and computer vision, while his hobbies include baseball, tennis, and music (writing, playing, and listening).
Prior to attending Wharton, Lauren was a project manager at NBC Universal working on digital media initiatives. She is also a graduate of General Electric's Information Management Leadership Program. Lauren holds a double major from MIT with degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, and Mathematics.
Pablo Lema is a member of the Wharton MBA Class of 2010, majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. Prior to Wharton, Pablo was an Associate at Francisco Partners where he evaluated leveraged buyout, growth equity and recapitalization investment opportunities in the technology industry. Pablo has previously worked at Falconhead Capital LLC and the Mergers and Acquisitions group of UBS Investment Bank. Pablo holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and Electronic Commerce. He is an avid rugby player, skier, amateur photographer and technology aficionado.
Jon Feldman is a member of the Wharton MBA Class of 2010, majoring in Finance and Strategic Management. Jon has six years experience internet media and e-commerce marketing, strategy and business development. Prior to attending Wharton, Jon was Director of Business Development for CollegeHumor.com, an operating business of IAC/InterActiveCorp, where he developed and executed onsite video monetization and offsite syndication strategies. Previously, Jon helped build and manage e-commerce businesses for MTV Networks' cable television properties. Jon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, where he majored in Marketing. He enjoys snowboarding, playing ice hockey, traveling and photography.
Moti is majoring at Wharton in Strategic Management and Marketing. Prior to Wharton, Moti worked with Scepia, a leading web development company in Israel first as Senior Project Manager and last as their COO. Prior to Scepia Moti served in the Israeli Navy for six and a half years in various commanding positions.
Beside his immensely passion to technology he is food and wine enthusiast as well as extensive world travel. Moti is also a Senior Instructor in Yacht Sailing.
Moti holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management, from the Technion- Israel institute of technology.
Mehdi El Hajoui is a member of the Wharton MBA class of 2010. Prior to Business School, Mehdi was an associate with the Boston Consulting Group in their Washington, D.C. and Dubai offices. While at BCG, Mehdi worked in a wide variety of industries, from government to industrial goods, and across corporate functions. Mehdi holds BSE and BA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an AM from Harvard University.
Hannah Rosenbaum is a member of the Wharton Class of 2010, majoring in Marketing and Operations Management. Prior to Wharton, she was a marketing manager at SiteAdvisor, an Internet security start-up that was acquired by McAfee. Prior to SiteAdvisor, Hannah was an equity research assistant at SG Cowen. Hannah holds a B.A. from Brown University, where she majored in Business Economics and Psychology.
J.T. Stephens is a member of the Wharton Class of 2010, majoring in Finance and Strategic Management. He has eight years of experience in technology product management and investment banking. Prior to Wharton, J.T. was the Director of Business Operations for Six Apart, a leading blogging software company. His career also includes working at Overstock.com and Robertson Stephens. J.T. holds a BA in English from UC Berkeley where he played varsity basketball.
Daryl Drabinsky is a member of the Wharton Class of 2010, majoring in Marketing and Strategic Management. Prior to Wharton, Daryl interned for various media companies, including CityTV, the London Times, Focus Features, and Alliance Atlantis. Daryl holds a B.A. from Northwestern University, where she majored in Political Science and graduated in 2008.
Prior to Wharton, Charlene was a human machine interface engineer at Ford Motor Company where she developed user interfaces and implemented new technologies for electronic components of next generation vehicles. Previously, Charlene has worked in Intel’s design automation tool group and IBM’s microprocessor design group. Charlene holds a M.S and B.S. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, both from Carnegie Mellon University.
Anand Balaji is a member of the Wharton Class of 2010, majoring in Entrepreneurial Management and Marketing. He has nine years of experience in technology development, sales and product management. Prior to Wharton, Anand was the Product Manager for Evolving Systems, a leading telecommunications software company, where he was part of a core team that helped set up the company’s office in Bangalore, India. Prior to that, Anand was a team lead at Aricent Communications where he first developed and then marketed India’s first online advertising service for publishers as well as advertisers. Anand holds a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, India where he played varsity tennis.
Jamaal Brown is a member of the Wharton Class of 2010, majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. Prior to Wharton, Jamaal worked at GlaxoSmithKline in their IT Development Program. During his three rotations there, he worked as a business analyst on the improvement and expansion of an application repository tool used by managers across the company to make strategic decisions, a project manager on a data center restructuring initiative, and a process improvement leader for a widely used sales and marketing tool. Jamaal holds a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University. In his spare time, Jamaal enjoys reading, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
Joriz De Guzman is a member of the Wharton MBA Class of 2010 and is the youngest MBA candidate in the history of the Wharton School. He is pursuing concentrations in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurial Management. In June 2008, Joriz received his Master’s of Science at age 18 from the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. During his graduate studies at UC Santa Barbara, he was the project manager on many interdisciplinary projects that have been presented at top-tier, international research conferences. Joriz also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from California State University, San Bernardino where he graduated with High Honors as the Outstanding Undergraduate Student of the Year. Joriz loves to play basketball, make music (play guitar, create beats) and write poetry.
Gal Gavish is a member of the Wharton MBA class of 2010, majoring in Finance and Strategic Management. Prior to Wharton, Gal was a project manager at Sun Microsystems Israel Development Center, providing software solutions to wireless device manufacturers and cellular service providers worldwide. Previously, Gal served as a Regional IT Operations Manager for the Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Corps. Gal holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Prior to Wharton, Zhenyuan was a senior M&A manager at Huawei Technologies Corporate Development Department, where he managed Huawei抯 strategic development through acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. Transactions experience including acquire 3Com along with Bain Capital. Before joining M&A department, he was the regional financial director in Dubai.
Prior to attending Wharton, Anthony spent 2 years consulting for FIG clients with Accenture, followed by 2.5 years consulting across a variety of industries with Deloitte Consulting. He has worked on a variety of projects advising clients on strategic, operational, and technical initiatives. Anthony holds a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University.
